Verbier

This quaint Swiss town rests in the saddle of majestic mountains nearly 5,000 feet above the valley floor. It is the crux of Switzerland’s renowned ‘4 valleys’, a vast, interconnected web of Alpine valleys and towns that comprises over 402km of ski runs and 93 individual ski-lifts.

Though sizable at nearly 15,000 beds, Verbier is dominated by chalet style houses and mid-size hotels, giving it a traditional Swiss feel that is at odds with the multi-storey hotel blocks and modern atmosphere typical of many French resorts.
