About us
OnTheMountain Pro is the ski and snowboard instructor training division of Neige Aventure Ski & Snowboard School, one of the first snowsports schools to become a BASI partner in Switzerland. We have been running successful GAP Ski and Snowboard instructor courses in Nendaz since 1998.

Training
Our gap ski and snowboard instructor courses are an intensive ten weeks of training, coaching, and personal development, designed to take skiers or snowboarders to the level where they can be highly competent ski or snowboard instructors and prepare you for the BASI Level 1 and Level 2 exams. During this time, you can expect to receive over 300 hours of on-snow training, and over 50 hours in the classroom or tutorial groups.
We’ll introduce you to the skills and knowledge that form the basis of becoming a ski patroller (safety, avalanche training, first aid) and include environmental awareness seminars – an important part of life in our spectacular mountains.
And we’re uniquely positioned to provide our ‘How to run a ski resort business’ course, as well as giving you the opportunity to learn and/or brush up your French language skills.
Being located in the 2nd largest resort in the 4 Valleys ski region has first class advantages:
- Spend an entire season located at the entry point to the 4 Valleys area, with the fastest access to Mont Fort.
- Take advantage of the fact you can ski in Verbier, while enjoying a less expensive and more diverse lifestyle by being based in Nendaz.
- Visit other resorts such as Chamonix (90 mins) and Zermatt and Saas Fee(120 mins) by bus car or train.
