Scotland

We run a selection of courses throughout Scotland in Snow Centres, on Dryslopes and at Scottish Mountain resorts.

Please remember that when it comes to the Scottish Mountain resorts, conditions are unpredictable. If you live nearby and can go at short notice when things look good, the several Scottish ski areas are a tremendous asset.

Please see individual venues for more information on what's included in the price you pay.

Huntly

Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre is Britain’s only purpose-built all-weather facility for cross-country skiing, providing tuition at all levels from novice to elite.

The facility is run by Aberdeenshire Council and was upgraded with grants from the Big Lottery in 2004.

Huntly Centre is a wooden lodge in a delightful setting, with 400m, of all-weather classic mat, 30mx6m downhill matting and 800m of tarmac roller ski track.  We use high level forest trails in the Clashindarroch Forest, 13 miles from the centre, when we have snow.

When there is good snow cover skis are available to hire by the day.

The Trainer for the course will meet you at the lodge on the first day of your course at 09:15.  They will be wearing a distinctive BASI uniform.  If you have any problems or are going to be late or cannot find the meeting place, please contact the BASI office on 01479 861 717.
