Norway

Norway has a population of about 5 million and covers an area of 385,155 square kilometres. The official Head of State is King Harald V. Norway is known for nature attractions like fjords, mountains and midnight sun, and is easily accessible by plane from most European countries.

Because of the Gulf Stream, Norway has a friendlier climate than the latitude indicates.

Sjusjoen

This is a part of the Lillehammer area which hosted the 1994 Olympics and offers hundreds of kilometres of well prepared tracks that cater for the world cup races to ski tourists. There is a great biathlon facility which makes it a popular venue for national team’s pre season as there is guaranteed snow from mid November. Sjusjoen is at 700m, 30 min drive from Lillehammer centre and 150km north of Oslo.

View the Sjusjoen website here.
