Please meet your BASI trainer at  the ticket desk at 9.30am on Day 1 of your course. Refresher students should meet in the Cafe. Your trainer will be wearing a BASI Trainer jacket with the BASI logo. Christchurch

Gloucester

Opening hours:
Summer from April until October-  10.00am to 10.00pm (except Thursday 10am till 8pm, Saturday 10am till 6pm and Sunday 10am till 9pm)
Winter from November to March - 10,00am to 10.00pm (except Thursday 10am till 8pm, Saturday 10am till 6pm and Sunday 10am till 9pm)

Access to the conference room for BASI students is 9.40am. Access to the ski slope is from 10.00am.

Other Information:

There is a cafe bar on site. Food purchased on site can be eaten on site.
Personal lockers are available and are 50p (non refundable).
Car parking on site if free.
Long sleeves, trousers and gloves must be worn when using the slope. 
Please note that any equipment cannot be stored on site overnight.
Helmets are compulsory for anyone under 16 years. (Minimum age for a BASI course is 16 years by the course start date)

Other Information:
It is compulsory for anyone using the slope to wear a helmet.
There are no car parking fees.
Equipment hire is included (Boots/Skis/Boards/Helmets)
Lockers take a £1 coin which is refunded after use.

Milton Keynes

Opening times:

For the Summer months, access to the conference room for BASI students is from 9.30am. Access to the ski slope is from 10.00am and for Winter it is 08.30 for the conference room and 09.30 for the slope access.

Helmets are currently optional at Milton Keynes.
Only food purchased on site can be eaten on site and in the conference rooms. 
Car Parking - park in the blue zones, do not pay at the machine but register your car details at the Snozone ticket desk and collect a £1 day pass to display in your vehicle.

Silksworth

Opening times:

Summer from April 1 until October 31 - 11.45am to 9.15pm (BASI courses start at 10.00am and the venue will be open for students on BASI course days from 9.30am)
Winter from November 1 until March 31 - 11.45am to 9.15 pm 

Other Information:
Helmets are not currently compulsory.  
Arms and legs must be covered at all time and gloves must be worn.
A limited snack bar is available at the slope but within the Tennis centre there is a cafe that serves a variety of meals. 
Car Parking - Free parking is available on site.
There is plenty of accommodation nearby including a Travel Lodge.

Solihull

Directions
Drive down Monkspath Hall Road from Prince's Way. After approximately 400 yds turn right into car park at the southern end of Tudor Grange Park.  It is then a 10 minute walk (with rollers etc) to the Centre where we meet.

Parking all day on Sundays is free at the car park by the track.  

There will be an in class session at the Centre from 09:30 till 10:30. From here you will then go to the Tudor Grange Circuit.

The circuit is approx. 850metres long, 5metres wide with a 6metres finishing straight down the middle of the top. The profile of the circuit is labelled as ‘testing’ as Tudor Grange Park slopes away towards the Norman Green Athletics centre. The tarmac is smooth and bordered by grass verges. There is a small hill and all elements of skiing both classic and skating can be demonstrated in context.   

Equipment
If you require the hire of Roller ski please contact Anne Ford at annetford@blueyonder.co.uk or on 07958721310. Anne can supply hire of the Roller skis and poles for a small fee of £10.00. Please note it is advised to bring your own Salomon boots.  You will need to pay Anne directly for the hire of equipment. It is not included in the course fees.  Any question regarding equipment hire, please contact Anne.   

Participants should bring any knee protection if you have it and foot beds if you normally use them. Ski gloves, glasses and helmets are also advised.

Tallington Lakes

Opening times:

Winter from November 1 until March 31 - 10.00am to 8.30 pm (6pm close at weekends)

Helmets are currently compulsory for snowboarders and anyone under 16 years of age. 
Arms and legs must be covered at all time and gloves must be worn.
Food is available to order on site from the bar and restaurant.  
Car Parking - A car parking charge of £3 may be incurred but this can be refunded. On arrival please inform car parking that you are on a BASI course to avoid car park charge.
Some accommodation is available on site - please contact Tallington Lakes directly for information and prices.
