Part of the famous Trois Vallees ski area, Courchevel is in the Savoie region of south-east France, around 150km south-east of Geneva, and around 50kms form Albertville. Renowned for its unrivalled positions and excellent snow conditions, the resort comprises of 4 villages at different altitudes, set along the St.Bon Valley.
From Courchevel 1300 (originally Le Praz), through 1500, 1650 and finally 1850, all are connected by lifts and a free local bus service. Courchevel is one of the most fashionable resorts in France due to the variety of runs and sophisticated range of shops and amenities. Some resort attractions are: floodlit skiing once a week at 1650, an ice rink at 1850 (skating/ice hockey), parapenting, hot-air balloon rides, snowmobiling and tobogganing. Plus, of course cinemas, numerous restaurants and abundant nightlife.
A pre-course meeting for the Mountain Safety & EMS courses will take place at 18:30 the evening before your course starts.

SALLE DE REUNION DE MORIOND
As you go into the Tourist Office entrance in 1650 Courchevel, don't turn right into the actual Tourist Office, but go straight up the stairs past the first level, to the second level, and it's on your right. The meeting point for all other courses will be advised closer to the date.
A pre course meeting for the Level 3 Tech and the Coach courses will take place at the Télécabines du Praz, which is the room on the lake side of the bubble station at 18:30 the evening before your course starts.
On Snow meeting points:
Mountain Safety & EMS - please meet your trainer on the 1st morning of your course at 08:45 in the Bubble Bar at Courchevel 1650. They will be wearing a BASI branded uniform.
Level 3 Tech & Coach - please meet your trainer on the 1st morning of your course at 0845 at the Télécabines du Praz lift station in Le Praz (Courchevel 1300). They will be wearing a BASI branded uniform.
